We are now testing dogs annually not only for Heartworm but also for Lyme’s disease, Erlichiosis and Anaplasmosis, three tick-born diseases. We live in a region that has seen an explosion in the tick population, so this test allows us to screen for exposure and often treat these diseases before clinical signs occur.
